About me

From the
Perth Hills.

I grew up exploring quarries, bush reserves and Crown land, interested in what was beneath the ground and what was growing above it.

That interest took me through mineral science and into environmental fieldwork. Today, my work includes inspections, rehabilitation, revegetation and remediation, as well as managing crews and project delivery.

Background

Conservation, science
and practical work.

My family’s connection to conservation on South African game reserves was part of my early interest in the natural environment.

I went on to complete a Bachelor of Science, major in Mineral Science with Business Law studies. My studies included mineral processing and lithium battery recycling, followed by a Graduate Certificate in Professional Data Analytics.

Those subjects sit alongside the practical experience I’ve gained in environmental fieldwork, laboratory work, landscaping and property management.

Outside work

Walking, photography
and time outdoors.

I spent six months living off the land in Estonia, where weather, seasons and local knowledge shaped daily life.

Closer to home, I photograph birds, bushland and seasonal flora on walks. There’s a selection of those photographs here.
